Seasons of Intercession
God is calling every believer to prayer and intercession.
Many prayer warriors have quietly, without reward or recognition, changed the course of people’s lives, churches, cities and nations by digging in and stubbornly holding their ground through prayer and intercession. Every town, village, countryside, city will change through the highest calling which is prayer and intercession.
An Urgent Cry for Intercessors
There is now a season for intercession. There are serious shifts in our nations and cultures.
Cries for:
- Gap standing
- Hedge building
- Cup filling
- Individual prayers
- Corporate prayers
Make an intercessory prayer covenant.
The cry of our nations' heart to the church is “please, intercede for us”. The first priority is prayer.
When the heart is on fire with God Himself, the prayer itself is on fire, pushing back the devil’s boundary lines. God has given us a 5000 acre farm to live and the devil tries to shrink us to 1 acre. We need to extend our boundaries through prayer.
The Holy Spirit will teach us how to pray.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 – Pray Without Ceasing.
When You Consistently Pray:
1. Works of Darkness are EXPOSED.
2. You are under God’s protective care.
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; Psalm 91:1, 10
3. You will know clearly the perfect will of God.
- The safest place in the whole wide world is to be in the perfect will of God.
4. You can sense the tangible presence of God.
And they said to one another, “Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?” Luke 24:32
