Fathers' Day - the Fatherhood of God
God is outpouring His Father's love on us.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.
And he will turn
The hearts of the fathers to the children,
And the hearts of the children to their fathers,
Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse. Malachi 4:5-6
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ” John 20:17
1 John 3:1 How great is the love the Father has lavished on us that we should be called children of God - this is who we are.
The Father's Blessing
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
