Thoughts On Thoughts
- We can only think one thought at a time. If we have two thoughts at a time, we're confused
- We control the subject of our thoughts. Therefore, we can change our thoughts to think righteous thoughts
- Thoughts can be a demonic force
- Our mind is like a water bottle. If it's empty, it is full of air. To get rid of the air, you must fill it with water. Therefore, we can only get rid of demonic thoughts if we fill our mind with the Word of God.
When we go through hard times:
1. Learn to pray
Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit. James 5:16-18
- when we as righteous people pray, God hears and things will begin to happen
2. Don't fight the battle alone
- give our battles to the Lord. He will fight for us.
